PADI Discover Mermaid
This half day program is the perfect introduction to mermaiding for those short on time. A short, fun, flexible experience in the shallow water of a swimming pool to slide you into the magical world of mermaiding.

PADI Basic Mermaid
A short one day program which is conducted in shallow water in a swimming pool. This course takes the core components of the PADI Discover Mermaid program and develops your understanding further with additional knowledge, skills and in-water practice time. Discover more in-depth information around the background of mermaid diving and culture and learn more about mermaid equipment and safety considerations. This course is split into knowledge development and in-water learning.

PADI Mermaid
The most popular of all the Mermaid programs which includes a knowledge development session and two in-water training sessions. In this full day program you’ll develop more dynamic mermaid skills as well as learn rescue/problem management skills. You’ll be introduced to skills that make mermaiding completely different from all other types of diving. Learn a whole host of new mermaiding skills such as dolphin kicks, C-shape and U-shape side turns, backward somersault turns, back glides and underwater handshaking.

PADI Advanced Mermaid
Ready to take your Mermaid skills to the next level? Learn new skills, build your confidence, improve your breath-hold and body control and master mermaid movements in an ocean environment. Understand the basics of how an open water environment differs from the swimming pool and learn about the aquatic life you’ll be sharing the ocean with and how to interact safely to avoid harm. Deep dive into the world of mermaiding and learn streamlined descents, controlled ascents, underwater swimming techniques, surface skills and rescue techniques in the ocean.
